I live on Atherton Tablelands, great vid, thanks
So Adrian came up with the idea of hooking up the rope & putting it the bin bag? Really??🤣 I think the thousands of people who have done the previously would disagree!🙄😂
Wow the conditions look good what time of the year was this actually filmed
@@thecappedgamer8125 start of June
FOR THE SHORT VERSION GO TO 8:00
Hey Guys, was wondering if you have weighed your rig fully loaded before heading out on a trip?
We loved it, thanks for sharing. There's nothing quite like a 70 series Landcruiser. I wonder how well the new 2.8L auto will go with time and I see it will also be supplied as a manual. I'm one of those people who would never want a V8 again, but I still respect that Toyota diesel engine, they sound incredible and such an unstressed engine, it's hard to beat.
Beautiful videography… Greetings from Senegal
So jealous guys.....hopefully catch up during the 4x4 shows!.......🍷🍷❤
Awesome episode!!
Nice video - thanks. How do you rate the Genesis split cooker? Worth the dollars?
I would love to be able to do that trip, just need to win lotto. I need to find some one willing to take me :(
Legend cleaning the rubbish up. Worst thing about 4wd community.... there are more shockers than good. Thank you! And thank you to everyone else who cleans up and does the right thing.
We definitely need to see a new T-shirt in the merch store with “Everyone needs and Adrian” on it.
@@marks7120 what if I told you there already is?
@@OverlandTravellers than I guess I had a classic “man’s look on your website” hahaha. I’ll have to have a better look and get me one. Love your work. I’m enjoying the e new series.
What is your rear bar? Is the towbar integrated with it? How heavy is it?
Fantastic episode as usual, good to see that you have a sacrificial Rafa and a Mr Fixit Adrian for anything that may need a bit of attention.
💯 agree and glad u guys took the safer route. It’s not worth it and just ignore all the negative comments out there. In the end the one who will cope with the damage is your vehicle and your wallet, not theirs. A trip like this is so much fun and safer with a convoy, you know that help is always there. Love your vid always ❤
Thanks
destroying tracks to get you better content is disgraceful you could try looking after the tracks and use the alternative track with every vehicle so the tracks stay open for everyone in the future
Everyone is out there too !! Year round !! This isn’t restricted to just one track in Australia. Take a look at the condition of the track BEFORE they even drive through.
Dont think content creators destroy tracks and a 4ft deep track is going to get any more destroyed, vehicles will cop it though! Alternative tracks involve knocking down more bush. Got any ideas, maybe close off the Cape until it’s 100% dry?
@@FarqueKnowsWhere inevitably it’s up to the locals to control traffic movement all year round but since covid more Australians started travelling there own country. The now old saying of all the gear and no idea now rings very true, multiple tracks around the country have been closed due in two parts to poor management and a complete lack of respect for the land and its surroundings. Now it’s a competition to have the biggest and best 4x4 carrying or towing the whole house, big tyres and big horsepower leaving behind a trail of destruction, rubbish and unburied toilet waste. Simple camping no longer exists , booking ahead and camping fees to cover costs of keeping these areas clean and campers regulated. The canning stock route is one such track that is highly regulated year round by the indigenous locals and shires. I have watched this transpire over the years here in WA ever since my 1st trip into the Kimberly area in the mid 60’s,the transformation of camping and 4 wheel driving has been nothing short of mind boggling and people shouldn’t complain about camp fees and booking in advance,it’s needed for control of our fragile areas.
😂how is that destroying a track? By driving it? It's a 4x4 tracks ya goose it's meant to be driven 😂
@@FarqueKnowsWhereMe new to 4wd but Rafael stuck twice while others used the side track already there to winch him. Seems like this makes my cock bigger thing?? Don't have an issue with him trying it tho. Me 4wd to get to a place Don't need to do the penis extension track when there is a perfectly good easier one. He me older, my choi.
Nice video, looks great fun. Fully equipped rigs look very heavy.
Yeah agree on gunshot, pleasure isn’t worth the risk or vise versa, i think gunshot alone can start issues that may pop up later. Everyone looks chilled good to see some mud on vehicles.
Noice Vid... Not Tyler Tompson style but.. they are doing cape vid as well....
Fantastic, thanks for sharing.
Great Show as Usual (musics a little loud)
Your videos are always insightful.
Hello, what were those places called that you visited in this video please, where are they situated 😊❤
Hello. All the places are situation in or near the Mareeba shire QLD :)
What happened to the tag-a-along tour you were going to conduct? I indicated an interest and hear nothing more
It is still on the cards for the future, just quite a bit of red tape with permits and insurances we need to get right before going ahead with it. If you emailed us you will get updates when we have them :)
Old mates upset a $1000 rtt wouldnt last fulltime living 😂 the MKII is great had it for yrs never an issue if you wsnt quality then be prepared to sell a kidney to pay for a 5k tent
@@cindoz1289 nah I loved it. Got two over the year and then got by $1000 back at the end under warranty. Free tent not bad
🤠 Thank you for the summary. If I may ask where did you put the 6 liter air compressed tank and which brand?
@@snakeB8 just in the side of the build out inside the troopy and it’s from TJM :)
The ultimate setup very cool and well thought out great job guys.
Great vid! I doun't think I could ever do the Tele so it's great to live vicariously !
Great content guys!!! What fire pit are you using?
And then the 2.8 litre is released, I’m doing up and selling my V8
Great episode Matt and Holly, well done! 👏
Cheers guys!
Awesome clip guys!
Thanks for the maintenance tip about the snorkel sock (Uni filter). I will be getting one. I laughed when your mate was pissed when he saw your opened Air Box. Uni filter snorkel sock sales doubled after watching this video.
My Comment. I notice everyone is driving different versions of the Toyota Land cruiser. Troop carrier or Twin cab, and why because they just work. Trialed and tested throughout the world. Best remote touring vehicle in the world. Daylight is second.
Epic water crossings as always nice content cheers
Thanks 👍
do you guys only have rear lockers and no front ones???
@@adamedgar5765 front and rear
Fantastic episode as usual, looks like an awesome crew you have on this trip. Love the 40 series ute at the end
@@seanchristie7150 it was very cool, on a 80 series chassis
@@OverlandTravellers I thought it looked a little wider at the front
Great video team, we loved it. I'm not sure the new DMax with no lift would cut it on the OTT.
@@robertarmbruster5650 you’d be surprised it would go pretty well.
Ive just bought exactly the same ute for $6k! Looking on RUclips for inspiration and amazing youve taken it around Australia - thats exactly what I wanted to hear. Mine has 320,000K so hopefully bit of life left in it yet
Mate honestly they are amazing, still have that old school reliability but a bit newer than some of the older more popular solid front axle models.
@@OverlandTravellers this is music to my ears! I was a bit worried if it was too old. Your Tassie videos are amazing, think that's my next destination. Thanks loads :)
What flare extension kits are you all running?
ez flares from autobarn
It’s always entertaining watching 79’s do this stuff as they make it look 10x harder than it actually is!😂
ahahahaha...so very true
Ha, just commented to my daughter, if a 79 can do it, we can do it next year! Nice vids, keep it up.
The 79, a great litmus test for all four wheel drivers.
You obviously can’t afford one
Imagine what ride in cab would be like 😅
I loved the hole trip
Looks like a fantastic trip so far 🤠👍
